These Terms of Service (“Terms”) outline the agreement between Doodle Notions Creative Studio (“Designer,” “We,” “Our”) and the client (“Client,” “You,” “Your”) for the purchase of website subscription services.

By subscribing to any monthly plan or making an upfront payment, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

We provide the following services depending on the subscription tier selected:

Tier 1 – Essential Presence
3-page website, hosting, SSL, 1 edit per month, basic SEO setup, security, backups.

Tier 2 – Business Website
5–7 pages, hosting, SSL, 2–3 edits/month, gallery/menu, expanded SEO, security, backups.

Tier 3 – Premium Website
8–12+ pages, hosting, SSL, 5 edits/month, blog, service subpages, full SEO structure, advanced performance.

2. Upfront Fees & Monthly Subscription

Some tiers include an upfront onboarding fee, which covers:
Setup
Customization
Configuration
Installation
Initial design
Development work

Upfront fees are nonrefundable.
Work begins only after upfront payment is processed.

Monthly fees cover hosting, maintenance, updates, and ongoing support.

3. Subscription Term & Cancellation

Subscriptions require:
A 12-month minimum commitment
After 12 months, plan becomes month-to-month
Client may cancel anytime after 12 months with 30 days’ written notice

Cancellation must be emailed to:
support@doodlenotionscreativestudio.com

Work, hosting, edits, and support end immediately after the final billing period ends.

4. Late Payments & Service Suspension

Payments retry automatically for 7 days
After 7 days, a $35 late fee is added
Service may be suspended after 7 days past due
Suspension does NOT cancel the subscription
All missed payments must be paid before service resumes

5. Ownership

You do not own the website during the subscription.

Website ownership transfers ONLY if:

You complete the 12-month commitment

You purchase a buyout at full one-off price
(Tier 1: $2,000 | Tier 2: $4,000 | Tier 3: $8,000)

Until ownership is purchased, all files, theme licenses, design work, and hosting remain the property of Doodle Notions Creative Studio.

6. Refunds

Upfront fees are nonrefundable
Monthly fees are nonrefundable once processed
No prorated refunds
No refunds on completed or ongoing work

7. Edits Included Per Month

Based on your tier:

Tier 1: 1 edit/month

Tier 2: 2–3 edits/month

Tier 3: Up to 5 edits/month

Edits include:

Updating hours
Updating images
Updating text
Small changes

Not included:

New pages
New features
Redesigns
SEO campaigns
Photography/video
Custom code

These are billed separately.

8. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate business information
Provide timely content (logo, menu, services, hours, etc.)
Maintain valid payment method
Approve designs in a timely manner

9. Designer Responsibilities

We agree to:

Deliver the website per your subscription tier
Provide hosting, SSL, backups, and security
Maintain site performance
Deliver edits in a reasonable time (3–5 days typically)
Provide support via email

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate service for:

Nonpayment
Abuse of support
Violation of agreement
Illegal content

You remain responsible for unpaid invoices and fees.

11. Liability

We are not liable for:

Loss of revenue
Loss of data
Downtime caused by hosting providers
Third-party plugin failures
Client errors or content provided by Client

12. Additional Creative Services & Projects

Doodle Notions Creative Studio may offer additional services beyond website subscriptions, including but not limited to:

Photography & videography
Branding & logo design
Graphic design
Marketing services
Social media content creation
SEO services
One-off website builds
Consulting or strategy sessions
Editing services

Paid add-ons or upgrades

These services:

Are billed separately from subscription plans unless specifically stated otherwise.
May require a deposit, which is nonrefundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Include deliverables that are provided based on the project scope agreed upon in email, written proposal, or contract.
Are subject to timelines and revision limits specified at project start.
May require additional licensing agreements for commercial photography or video use if applicable.

All creative work remains the intellectual property of Doodle Notions Creative Studio until final payment is received.

13. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Texas.
